padmattieSkipSadly I had to return this snow blower due to malfunction issue what shot off seconds after i turn it on it doesn't matter if the snow was high or not
stockandpilloryPowerful ThrowerThis electric snow shovel realy blew me away with its power. It handles fresh snow up to about six inches deep without a problem, launching it a good twenty feet or so. The overall build quality is quite solid using heavy duty plastic that feels durable, even the rotor which is made of plastic that I've rammed into some serious chunks of ice doesn't even have a scratch on it - very impressed. MY only gripe is the mounting location of the guide wheels on the back cannot be adjusted and sits at an angle that more often than not leaves a small layer of snow on the ground. If you want to get it down to bare pavement, you have to lift the thrower which is pretty heavy to carry around without the guide wheels. Anyways, it works great with my existing 20 volt batteries and the included batteries are of high quality as well. Despite that little hiccup, this thing has been a tremendous help during the winter months. I definitely like it and it feels well worth the money.

Lauri A.ShockedThe shovel arrived right on time. Easy to assemble with clear instructions. Solid construction with heavy duty plastic , no working area metal. Tho not at all expected ( and not mentioned in product description) it came with 2 batteries and a charger. Because winter is coming to an end there was no driveway or sidewalk snow so I tested the power on very crispy, icy, compacted snow in the yard just to make sure it worked. Not only did it work with the supplied batteries and my Dewalt ones but WOW what power! I hammered it into the yard snow. The shovel cut through the heavy packed icy snow and launched it 20+ feet effortlessly. I wasn't just pleasantly surprised but shocked! I can't wait for next winter. As long as it has staying power it will be able to handle anything! Honest
Diane galipeauIt shoots up in the air ...about 6ft. Great little machineVery good blower
William Mooremy wife likes it that is all that matters lollight and easy to use
karlAwesome Snow shovelGreat little electric snow shovel uses same 20 Volt batteries as my dewalt tools. It cuts through the snow well and has lots of power and can do lots of work on the batterys charge.Great little snow shovel and i prefer it over gas powered tools.
David ReviewsSnow storm lifesaver.I'm impressed. I went in expecting a meh product, but actually left pleased with it and only wished I had a second one to cut down on the load.We just had a HUGE dumping of snow, about two feet (plus drifts), where this really proved its worth. When I first opened it, it went together fairly easily, only a little stiff in places, and within about 3 minutes I had it all together. The hardest part was getting the box open, and that was partly because I wanted to assemble it in a space only slightly larger than the thrower itself. When I got it together, I loaded the two included batteries with whatever charge they came in with and set out to the frozen snow that'd accumulated around my property. To my surprise, with only a little kick back, it did a great job chewing through this stuff, and flung it in little tiny pieces far away. I ran around until the batteries were dead, about 30+ minutes, and that was that. After all the snow that fell down, this was the ideal time to test it, fresh snow, lots of it, and someone who was tired of shovelling. I had a long walkway, a patio and a few other places a traditional snow blower wouldn't be possible to fit, and this thing performed perfectly. We had drifts almost 4 feet deep it just ate through, sending the snow flying easily away. Once we had it all cleared out, about 100ft long of pathways, each about 3 feet wide, we brought it inside with charge left and plugged it in. We were averaging a little over an hour outside each time with loads of battery left, and more importantly, much less exhausted than hand shovelling it all. The adjustable flinging helps you with clearing pathways so it's out of the way, and not just further down the pathway. All in all, this is a great piece of gear that works nicely with the dewalt battery system, meaning you can have spares on hand, or utilize these in other projects during the summer, and it's a good value.
SinnikExcellent snow thrower with 2 powerful batteries included! This cordless brushless electric snow thrower by PANDAX definitely surpassed my expectations. The unit came disassembled in the box, but was really easy to put together with the help of the included instruction manual, and took about 10 minutes. The only frustrating part about this was trying to stuff the internal cordage that runs inside the handle tube into the tube - it felt like the cable was too long and didn't want to easily fit into the tube.Included with the snow thrower were 2 20V 4Ah MAX batteries compatible with DEWALT power tools - this alone adds a great deal of value to this kit, as the batteries on their own are not cheap - so if you have other DEWALT batteries or power tools, there batteries will be interchangeable. The batteries have a very useful battery life indicator, that can tell you how much battery life is remaining with just the press of a button. For the operation of this snow thrower, you just plug the batteries to the end of this units handle, and the snow thrower will be ready for operation - you disengage the safety lever and press on the trigger, in order to turn it on. This snow thrower's auger is made of plastic, so you will want to be careful not to bang it up against hard surfaces like stairs or sidewalks, as it will be more fragile than steel. With that said, the plastic auger does make it a lot lighter, and I can operate this snow thrower with just one hand. The 2 hand operation does help with pressing down on the unit though, in order to get a closer "shave" of the snow.I have an actual 2 stage snow blower for heavier snow falls, but this helps me just brush off lighter snow falls off the drive way, to help it melt away quicker, without having to take out the big and heavy snow blower. Although this is advertised to be able to handle wet snow as well, I would recommend this unit being used mostly on freshly fallen snow. It doesn't do too well against ice formation on the ground, as it gets difficult to pass it through the area with ice on the ground - as seen towards the end of my video demo.Overall though, I've very satisfied with this snow thrower - this isn't a replacement for a much more powerful 2 stage snow blower, but its not meant to be. If used on freshly fallen snow, it does very well, and having a combination of this snow thrower, a shovel and a snow blower for the heavier snow falls will make you absolutely unstoppable against the winter snow.
R. & J.Powerful & Long-Lasting, but a little Ergonomically Challenging for Shorter UsersAnyone who grew up or has spent any significant amount of time living through a Canadian winter - will absolutely appreciate this snow blower.I've used a few different snow clearing tools this year - a corded thrower, a single 20v battery push blower on wheels and this baby, which is a significant step up - and by far the best of the bunch.*Runtime:~ The two 4.0Ah batteries provide much better runtime than my single-battery unit - which would only get about 20-30 minutes per charge, with the dual batteries I can easily clear our driveway and then help the neighbours out without needing to break in between.*Power:Power-wise the ‘brushless motor' setup gives a noticeable boost in torque when you're using it. There are two settings - the lowest setting is suitable for most powdery types of snow - and #2 kicks on for wetter or heavier snow. Yesterday we had a mix of freezing rain and snow and it was almost like slush falling from the sky - I was concerned that perhaps this wouldn't perform as well in these conditions but it actually worked impressively well at clearing.*Function:The listing description says it's for 6" deep snow; however we tested it in multiple depths and whilst it doesn't perform 100% in every scenario, it held up pretty well in the deeper snow in our backyard banks.*Favourite Features:~ 2 X the power + compatibility: The fact that it comes with 2x20v batteries already means you've doubled your power potential - The Dewalt compatibility is great - people in this particular ‘battery ecosystem' will appreciate this…We have several other tools that operate on this same type of battery and we've no issue at all interchanging them between gadgets - this kit also comes with its own charger which is excellent.~ The Wheels: I really appreciated these - compared to my old corded thrower that I had to carry across the pavement, the assist wheels take the weight off your back once you get it moving.~ Internal Wiring: One detail I also really appreciate is the rubber-coated wiring. This is a 3-fold collapsible design, so having that extra protection is a big plus for longevity.~ Noise Level: It's impressively quiet. You can clear snow early in the morning without waking up the entire neighborhood, this is more than I can say for my other two units which are much louder.~ Adjustable chute: the 60 degree pivot works really well for re-directing snow away from vehicles and houses ( I learned quickly to appreciate this feature after coating an entire corner of our house in a smattering of snow! )*Nitpick:If I had to mention one area where it becomes a bit of a mixed bag - it's the size of the unit. The listing mentions that it is an ‘ergonomic height' for taller users - and they really mean this.I am 5”5 so when testing this out I found the length a bit awkward to maneuver… To keep it flat on the pavement I have to hold the handle at a higher angle which puts significant strain on my wrists.Combined with the safety trigger feature which requires constant pressure - my hand and wrist were sore after about 15-20 minutes.Even though the auxiliary handle really helps with stability - the leverage required for someone of a smaller size to pivot such a long tool - makes for a bit of a challenge…That said it worked pretty exceptionally for the our resident tall person - at 6”2 he had no issues with the size - so just something to keep in mind if you're vertically challenged like myself.IMO - This tool is definitely better suited to people 5”8 and above. In terms of peak performance - I would say this does its best work in light to moderate weighted snow. The dual battery setup is a major level up from most single battery units. It makes quick work of snow removal in most conditions and doesn't require gas or an extension cord.Overall I think this is a stellar snow removal option. I am super impressed with how effective it is - and it's a big improvement from my existing tools.Definitely a must-have for Canadian winters.
