When the battery reaches a low-voltage threshold, the system automatically stops operation to help protect your DeWalt batteries and maximize their lifespan.
Is the Mellif 16-inch electric bike too fast for kids?
The Mellif 16-inch kids' electric e-bike features 3 adjustable speed modes, allowing parents and riders to choose a more suitable riding pace. In real-world testing, the three modes reached approximately 8.6 km/h, 15.8 km/h, and 22.2 km/h. Starting with the lower speed mode can help young riders become familiar with the bike before progressing to higher speeds.
Do I need to wait for the battery to charge before riding?
Not necessarily. The battery is removable, so you can take it out for charging and install another compatible fully charged battery when needed. This means there is no need to wait for one battery to finish charging before riding again. Simply swap in a charged battery and get back on the road. It’s a convenient setup for families who keep a spare battery ready.

Our 5-year warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. This includes issues such as motor failures, electrical component defects, and product malfunctions caused by manufacturing problems.
The warranty does not cover normal wear-and-tear parts, such as blades, brushes, filters, seals, or other consumable components that naturally wear out during use. Damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper maintenance, or unauthorized modifications is also not covered.
