When the battery reaches a low-voltage threshold, the system automatically stops operation to help protect your Dewalt batteries and maximize their lifespan.

Does it accept standard reciprocating saw blades, and are they easy to change?
Yes. This cordless reciprocating saw is compatible with most standard reciprocating saw blades. The tool-free quick-release chuck allows you to change blades quickly without additional tools. It comes with 2 saw blades, so you can start cutting right out of the box. You can easily switch blades for different materials, including wood, metal, PVC, and more.
What does the 5-year warranty cover?
Our 5-year warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. This includes issues such as motor failures, electrical component defects, and product malfunctions caused by manufacturing problems.
The warranty does not cover normal wear-and-tear parts, such as blades, brushes, filters, seals, or other consumable components that naturally wear out during use. Damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper maintenance, or unauthorized modifications is also not covered.
