Will this mellif nibbler damage my Dewalt batteries?
No. The nibbler includes a built-in battery management and protection system that helps prevent over-discharge, over-current, and short circuits. When the battery reaches a low-voltage threshold, the system automatically stops operation to help protect your Dewalt batteries and maximize their lifespan.
What materials can it cut? Can it handle steel, stainless steel, aluminum, or corrugated roofing panels?
Yes. This cordless metal shear is designed to cut a wide range of sheet materials, including steel (0.5–1.8 mm), stainless steel (0.5–1.0 mm), and aluminum (0.5–2.0 mm). It is also suitable for many common sheet metal applications, including corrugated panels and roofing sheets, as long as they are within the recommended thickness range. The high-speed brushless motor delivers clean, efficient cuts for DIY projects, HVAC work, automotive repair, and metal fabrication.
Can it cut curves, circles, and interior cutouts? Is it easy to turn while cutting?
Yes. The dual 360° rotating cutting blades make it easy to cut straight lines, tight curves, arcs, and even small circular shapes. It also allows you to create interior cutouts after making a starter hole. What does the 5-year warranty cover?
Our 5-year warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. This includes issues such as motor failures, electrical component defects, and product malfunctions caused by manufacturing problems.
The warranty does not cover normal wear-and-tear parts, such as blades, brushes, filters, seals, or other consumable components that naturally wear out during use. Damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper maintenance, or unauthorized modifications is also not covered.
